Nikki Colada

Pink

I had shot this still life in regards to my thoughts on the color pink and how it is overwhelming to the eye. The strength of the connotation, pink comes with, is frightening.

Photo Scans

These photos are an experiment of scanning objects. A small follow up to my previous photograms.

Photograms

"A photogram is a photographic image made without a camera by placing objects directly onto the surface of a light-sensitive material such as photographic paperand then exposing it to light. The usual result is a negative shadow image that shows variations in tone that depends upon the transparency of the objects used. Areas of the paper that have received no light appear white; those exposed through transparent or semi-transparent objects appear grey" - WIkipedia

Here are some photograms I had done today. It was an interesting and fun experience to say the least :)
